How a tiny workflow works

Four steps. No black boxes.

Every TinyFlowLab workflow is built from the same four pieces, so you can read it, change it and know when it will stop and ask.

  1. 01 · Trigger

    Something happens

A form is submitted, an email arrives, a deal is marked won.

  2. 02 · Validate

    Check the input

Required fields, format, duplicates. Bad data stops here.

  3. 03 · Action

    Do one useful thing

Add a row, create a task, prepare a draft.

  4. 04 · Review

    A person decides

Replies, money and commitments stay with you.

Workflows

Start with the work behind your work.

Three areas where small teams lose the most time to copy-paste and memory. We’re building them in this order.

Lead intake

Free guide available

Capture and check every new inquiry

A form response lands in one sheet, required fields are checked, duplicates are skipped and the next step gets an owner.

Follow-up reminders

In development

Follow up without spamming

Detect unanswered conversations and prepare a reminder draft for you to approve — with limits and a clear stop condition.

Client onboarding

In development

One clean start for every new client

A signed project becomes a checklist, a welcome task and a list of missing details — nothing sent without your review.

Principles

Useful beats clever.

Good workflows are often boring. That’s a feature. Here’s what you can expect from everything we publish.

  • Human in the loop

Sensitive messages, payments, publishing and account access always get an approval step.

  • Honest limitations

Every guide lists what the workflow can’t do, what it costs to run and where it can fail.

  • Sample data only

Demos and templates ship with made-up records. No real customer data, ever.

  • Smallest tool stack

We start with tools you probably already use, and only add one when the process needs it.

Templates

Paid templates, coming later.

Not available yet. We’ll only sell a template after it has been tested end to end with a clean install.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Who is this for?

Freelancers and small digital or marketing teams (roughly 1–10 people) who want to cut repetitive admin and are comfortable setting up a template themselves.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The free workflow is copy-and-paste: you follow a step-by-step guide in Google Sheets. Where a step is technical, the guide shows exactly what to click.

Do I need an AI subscription or API key?

Not for the free workflow. Where AI helps (for example, summarising an inquiry), it is optional and the guide says what it costs.

Do you build workflows for clients?

No. TinyFlowLab makes self-serve templates and guides. We don’t offer done-for-you implementation.

How much time will this save me?

We don’t know your process, so we won’t promise a number. Each guide explains what the workflow does, so you can judge whether it’s worth it.

Are your tool recommendations sponsored?

Some tool links may be affiliate links in the future. When they are, they are labelled, and we only list tools we have actually tested.

About

A small, independent lab.

TinyFlowLab is an independent project by Jovan Rudić. We design small, inspectable workflows for people who run their own business or a small team and wear too many hats.

No client logos, invented case studies or savings claims — just workflows you can test yourself. Questions or a process you want to see solved? Email hello@tinyflowlab.com or follow @workflowin60s.
