What it does

  1. 01 · Trigger

    A Google Form is submitted

    Your existing contact or inquiry form — or a new one in 5 minutes.

  2. 02 · Validate

    Details are checked

    Name, a valid-looking email and a real message. Already-processed submissions are skipped.

  3. 03 · Action

    One row in a Leads tab

    Status New or Needs review, with the reason, a next step, an owner and a due date.

  4. 04 · Review

    You reply

    Nothing is sent automatically. You write the reply and tick Done.

Before you start

  • A Google account (free Gmail is fine)
  • 15–20 minutes, on a computer, not a phone
  • Your inquiry form, or 5 minutes to make one in Google Forms
  • Permission to install a script in that spreadsheet (your own sheet: yes)

What you’ll finish with

  • A Leads tab that fills itself from your form
  • Each lead marked New or Needs review, with the reason
  • A next step, owner and due date on every lead
  • Tested with 7 sample inquiries, so you know it works

After you install

  • Put your form link on your site or Instagram bio
  • Each morning, filter Leads by New and reply
  • Tick Done when handled; check Needs review weekly
  • Want follow-up reminders next? Get notified

Honest limits

  • The email check is a format check — it can’t tell whether an address really exists.
  • It flags a repeat request from the same email for review instead of merging it.
  • It doesn’t connect to a CRM, Slack or your inbox. That’s on purpose: fewer moving parts.
  • Google’s Apps Script quotas apply. A run takes well under a second, so small teams rarely notice.
